No alcohol or smoking is permitted onboard any of our transport vehicles.
There are no toilets on the bus, so please use the facilities before boarding. Restrooms are available at each stop throughout your tour.
Hot food can’t be consumed onboard — we keep things clean and fresh for everyone.
Please be ready for departure times — Tour Wellington can’t be held responsible for passengers left behind if they miss the scheduled departure.
Lost property: We’re not responsible for theft or items left behind, so keep your belongings close.
Damage or cleaning fees caused by a passenger’s behaviour will be the responsibility of that individual.
Seating is open — we don’t allocate seats. If you’re travelling in a group, we recommend arriving early to board together.

Haast Eagle Tour requires a minimum of 100 guests and at least 3 months’ notice.
All other tours require a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 20 guests for the tour to proceed.
Cancel 72–48 hours before departure: 60% refund
Cancel 47–25 hours before departure: 25% refund
Cancel within 24 hours: No refund
We may need to adjust your itinerary due to unexpected circumstances (weather, events, etc.). If we do, we’ll always aim to substitute with something equally special.
If Tour Wellington needs to cancel a tour entirely, a full refund will be given — though we won’t be liable beyond the refund amount.
Infants (0–2) must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Children must be kept safe and close — some venues include heritage machinery and may not comply with modern safety standards.
Tour Wellington is not liable for personal injury or property damage during the tour.
Each venue and service provider operates under their own terms — by joining the tour, you agree to those conditions.
Baggage and personal items are carried at your own risk, as per the Carriage of Goods Act.
If there’s a delay on the return leg of your journey, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and work through it case by case.
We’re not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events outside our control — such as severe weather, strikes, breakdowns, natural disasters, or other acts of God.
All prices listed are in New Zealand Dollars and valid only for the specified tour dates and offerings.
Photos and videos taken during your tour may be used in our future marketing. By booking, you agree that we may use images or footage that may include you, without needing further permission or compensation.
